The Afro-Latiné Club at San Francisco State University is a student-driven organization highlighting the African Diaspora's influence on Latin and Caribbean cultures.
Our mission is to foster connections, unity, and safe spaces for students who identify as Black Latino/a/é while exploring the impact of the African Diaspora on Latin culture. We strive to enrich learning by facilitating discussions that deepen the understanding of Black Latiné identities, history, and cultures. Additionally, we dedicate our efforts to exploring the intersection of Blackness and Latinidad, strengthening solidarity, and shared values within our communities. We promote inclusivity and empower Black Laitne students, cultivating a vibrant and supportive environment!
