Animation Society at SFSU

Who Are We?

We are a student run club at San Francisco State University that is dedicated to introducing other SFSU students to an appreciation and understanding of animation! We strive to inform students about the Animation Minor program at SFSU and to provide our members with the necessary resources they need to get creating!

Join us on #GatorsGiveDay and help us bring in industry professionals, host engaging activities, and support the growth of our aspiring animators.

What Needs Funding?

• Our most important event of the year is our student work showcase, Animation Finals! This is where we show off what has been created by students completing the Animation Minor and announce scholarship winners. The majority of our funding goes towards the graduation party held at the end where we require decorations, food, refreshments, and other supplies.
• We offer our animation minor graduates a custom-made animation stole for their graduation and need to cover the funding so students will not have to worry about being unable to afford one.
• As an art-based club, we provide our members with various art supplies & equipment during meetings and have previously paid out of our own pockets to cover any damages or replacements that are needed.

We will ensure that all funding goes directly into the club and support our students' success!
