Gospel Gators

The Gospel Gators is not only a student ran organization at SFSU, but also a choir originally started by students in 2004. The Gospel Gators consists of current students, alum, faculty/staff, and members of our local community. We strive to build and maintain a safe, engaging, healing and joyous community through Gospel Music. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of age, ethnicity, sexuality, singing level, religion, etc. Our mantra is "We sing with PASSION and NO FEAR!" A quote that has become familiar with all Gospel Gator members, old and new.

Every semester we perform a concert to showcase what the choir has been working on throughout the semester and to spread joy through Gospel Music. However, reserving a venue, booking a band, hosting dinner, and providing meals and beverages for the choir can be very expensive. Our concerts usually cost upward of $5,000. With your help, we will not only be to perform our concert, but we will make it one of the most spectacular events of the semester!
